More of the Daleks is the first episode of the Dynamite Doctor's first wave Boom Goes the Dynamite.

Summary[]

The Daleks are everywhere. And they’re all just a little bit rubbish.

Plot[]

The story opens with a police officer in Framlingham having to investigate a supposedly derelict warehouse after complaints of noise. He then has his arm ripped off by an Ogron, who proceeds to kill him.

The Doctor and Christie Christwald have been encountering Daleks for the last few adventures, and they've all been "a little bit crap". The Doctor wants to get to the bottom of why there's so many of them, so he traps one within the TARDIS, convincing it that the TARDIS doesn't allow for weapons to be fired (even though Christie recalls that a gun had been fired in there just last week).

The Dalek gives the Doctor its birth certificate, which provides details of where it was genetically engineered: Framlingham, Suffolk. The Doctor and Christie proceed to Framlingham, forgetting about the Dalek in the TARDIS completely.

During an attempt to sneak into the warehouse, Christie accidentally falls through a wall on a highly unstable ladder. She discovers that it's a secret Dalek base, where the Daleks are being manufactured en-masse by the Ogrons because it's cheaper and faster. As a consequence of this, none of them have functionally weaponry, and the Doctor defeats them by pushing Christie into an Ogron, which falls back into one of the Daleks, which sets off a chain reaction resulting in the destruction of the entire factory.

Back in the TARDIS, Christie asks if that's the last they'll see of the Daleks. The Doctor is fairly sure they have a similar setup in Woodbridge, but insists that they've both "had enough Daleks for one day."

Characters[]

The Dynamite Doctor[]

The Doctor has several switches on the console that serve no purpose other than to make him look busy when he's trying to impress or ignore Christie. He also reveals the ability to show no fear in front of the Daleks other than sweating profusely.

Christie Christwald[]

Christie manages to ask quite a few questions in this story.
